A token display on the TV you already have.
Order numbers being made and ready to collect, in big type, on any TV, tablet or laptop. Or a menu board with your prices, sold-out dishes and today’s offers. It updates from your kitchen screen by itself.
- No token machine
- Numbers only, no names
- Menu board with live prices
A token display shows guests when their order is ready, so they don’t crowd the counter or shout across it. Venditas shows “Being made” and “Ready to collect” order numbers on any screen with a browser, driven by your kitchen screen, plus an optional menu board. There is no hardware to buy and no extra fee.
How the numbers move
- The counter takes the order and payment (“KOT + Pay”). The bill shows the order number.
- The number appears under Being made.
- The kitchen taps Ready on the kitchen screen: it moves to Ready to collect, big and green.
- The guest collects; Picked up clears it. If the guest pays when collecting, it clears on payment.
Orders on your online page show too, and the guest’s own page says “Ready to collect” at the same moment.
Three screens from one link
- Order numbers, for counters, food courts and cafés.
- Menu board: sections, prices and portions from your POS, sold-out dishes struck through, offers along the bottom.
- Both, taking turns every 20 seconds.
Open it on any smart TV browser, an old tablet or a laptop on a TV. It keeps the screen awake where the browser allows.
Setting it up
- Marketing → TV screen in the POS.
- Scan the QR with the TV’s browser, or type the link.
- Tap Full screen. Done.
If a link goes somewhere it shouldn’t, make new links; the old ones stop working.
Good to know
Table orders are left out by default, since a table’s food goes to the table. The screen needs internet. It is part of the ₹3 a bill, with everything else.
Quick answers
What do I need for a token display?
Any TV with a web browser, an old tablet, or a laptop connected to a TV. Open your screen’s link from Marketing → TV screen and make it full screen. There is no token machine to buy.
Where do the numbers come from?
From your orders and the kitchen screen. An order paid at the counter shows under “Being made”; when the kitchen taps Ready it moves to “Ready to collect”, and Picked up clears it.
Does the TV show guests’ names?
No. Only order numbers. The order number is printed on the bill.
Can it show the menu?
Yes. The menu board shows your sections and prices from the POS, marks sold-out dishes, and runs your current offers along the bottom. It can also take turns with the order numbers.
Does it cost extra?
No. It is part of the ₹3 a bill, and the screen reads its numbers directly, so leaving it on all day costs nothing.
