The language button sits in the top bar. A device also remembers a default language for its lock screen, so a kitchen tablet can start in Marathi.
Why language matters on the floor
A captain who reads English slowly will avoid the app and go back to paper. A cook who cannot read “less spicy” will cook it the usual way. When staff can work in Hindi or Marathi, they actually use the system, and every order and cancellation carries their name. That is what makes the watch list useful.
Mixed teams work fine
Each person’s choice is their own. On the same night one captain can use Hindi on the captain app, another English, and the kitchen screen can be in Marathi. Nobody has to change anyone else’s phone.
