Bookings and a waitlist that run themselves.
Take bookings by phone, WhatsApp or your online page. Put walk-ins on a waitlist they follow on their own phone. When a table frees up, one tap tells the guest on WhatsApp, and seating them opens the order on that table.
- No per-guest fee
- Guests see their place in the queue
- On your floor plan
A table reservation system keeps your bookings and walk-in queue in one place. In Venditas, bookings sit on your floor plan, guests on the waitlist get a link that shows their place in the queue and changes to “Your table is ready” when you tap one button, and guests can ask for a table from your online page. It is part of the POS, with no per-guest fee.
Bookings
- Date, time, guests, name, phone, a table if you want, and a note like “birthday, window seat”.
- Today’s list with who is still to come, who sat down and who didn’t come. The next 14 days by day.
- A Remind button sends the guest a WhatsApp note with their booking link.
- Booked tables show on the floor plan from 30 minutes before to 3 hours ahead.
- Seat marks them seated and opens a new order on their table.
Walk-in waitlist
- Add the party, name, phone and the wait you told them. Send them their link on WhatsApp.
- Their page shows their place in the queue and updates by itself.
- Table ready: pick the table, WhatsApp opens with “Your table is ready”, and their page changes too.
- Guests can leave the queue from their own page, so you don’t hold tables for people who left.
Table requests from your page
Switch on “Guests can ask for a table” in Marketing → Online orders. Guests pick a date, time and party size on your online page. The counter and managers hear a sound, and the request waits under Bookings with Confirm and Decline; each opens WhatsApp with the reply ready.
What it tells you
Reports → Value counts bookings seated each month, their guests, and the bills from those tables. The daily summary to the owner includes bookings seated and no-shows. Guests who booked are saved with their number, so they can get your campaigns later if they agree.
Quick answers
Is there a commission on bookings?
No. Bookings and the waitlist are part of the POS. Some booking platforms charge restaurants per guest they send; bookings you take yourself cost nothing extra.
How do guests know their table is ready?
Staff tap “Table ready”, pick the table, and WhatsApp opens with the message for the guest. The guest’s own waitlist page also changes to “Your table is ready” by itself.
Can guests book online?
Yes, if you switch on table requests on your online ordering page. Requests show in Bookings for you to confirm or decline; one tap opens WhatsApp with your reply.
Do bookings show on the floor plan?
Yes. A table booked in the next three hours shows “Booked 8:30 · Sharma (4)” on the Tables screen, so captains don’t give it away.
Who can take bookings?
Captains, the counter and managers. Kitchen staff don’t see bookings.
Does it cost extra?
No. It is included in the ₹3 a bill.
